After spending an idyllic childhood in Berlin, Stephanie Franzius started her fashion career in New York, were she worked at well known fashion companies like Adrienne Vittardini and Anne Klein. Returning to Berlin she continued her education in fashion design at the University of Applied Sciences (FHTW) working shortly for Robert Inestroza in Milan, and then completing a Masters degree at the Arnhem Fashion Institute in Amsterdam. Her final Masters presentation at the Paris couture fashion week in 2003 marked the end of her studies and the launch of her own label. After assisting with the Collection Show pieces for Viktor & Rolf’s fall winter show 2003 / 2004 with Tilda Swinton Franzius moved back to Berlin to start exploring her own signature style and working freelance as a designer, stylist and teaching at universities.
