The maccoat design is based on the coats issued to railway workers in Europe. The curvaceous, rounded silhouette is achieved by a boldly generous body width and elbow circumference. The fabric is cotton quilted with stitched penguin footprints hand-drawn by the designer. The stitching pattern is not too assertive and accents the design.
