Wearing soles instead of shoes
The outsole of this series is so symbolically designed that it swallows up the upper. The image is that of a huge, yet light orca swimming. The surface of the outsole has a flocky finish, designed so that as the shoes are worn and scratched, the surface is scraped away to reveal the color inside. Boldly, a handkerchief protrudes in all directions from between the midsole and outsole so that the entire upper can wrap around the foot, and the shoe can be wrapped up like a lunch box.
